Free Returns on Target Online
All items purchased from Target Online can easily be returned via the post or to your local Target store within 28 days from delivery..

Returns via store
You can return items that you have purchased online to your local store for an exchange or refund, but you must present proof of purchase, ideally your tax invoice. Our store team member will assess the items and determine whether a refund or exchange will be offered in accordance with our Refund Policy. Refunds will be issued in the same form of tender, e.g. if you paid for your online order through PayPal, you are required to present the card associated with your PayPal account in store.
Returns via the post
To return an item that you have purchased from Target Online via return post:
- Call the Target Customer Support Team on 1300 753 567 or email email@example.com
to request your ‘e-parcel returns slip’
- Download, print and fill in the returns form
- Put the returns form with the items that you are returning into a suitable parcel or box
- When you receive the ‘e-parcel returns slip’ place it on your parcel and drop it into your nearest Australia Post outlet.
Items can be exchanged in store. For a refund, you will need to return the items via post. Follow instructions above.
We also reserve the right to charge you for any postage costs incurred for returns should a refund or exchange be declined or if you’ve changed your mind. If you've requested an exchange of a product that you’ve purchased online, we’ll do our best to fulfil your request, however please note that this is subject to stock availability.
Physical gift cards
Physical gift cards cannot be returned if you change your mind. They also will not be exchanged for another denomination or tender such as cash. Target will accept returns and provide you with an exchange gift card where the item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality. Please note that Target is not responsible for and is unable to replace gift cards which are lost or stolen. For faulty gift cards please return to your local store or call the Target Customer Support Team on 1300 753 567 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
