Mummy is on the cusp of turning 50 the hot flushes are just starting and shes beginning to wonder who she is in life. Shes been a wife and mother for so long and shes more than a little bit lost. Jane is constantly partying and more interested in passing her driving test than passing her A-Levels. In fact trying to get the kids through their exams at all is almost as excruciating as waiting for their results. Or sitting by their bedside when one of them has an utterly stupid accident. And then theres Simon and his truly irritating girlfriend constantly poking her nose in. Not that Mummys new man is fairing much better. Coupled with the ongoing battle with horrible HR woman an impending partially empty nest and the stress of elderly parents its all getting a bit much. Can Mummy keep up the facade while keeping her family afloat as everyone starts drifting off in different directions? And more importantly can she find the time to pour herself a large G+T along the way?
