Mummy is on the cusp of turning 50 the hot flushes are just starting and shes beginning to wonder who she is in life. Shes been a wife and mother for so long and shes more than a little bit lost. Jane is constantly partying and more interested in passing her driving test than passing her A-Levels. In fact trying to get the kids through their exams at all is almost as excruciating as waiting for their results. Or sitting by their bedside when one of them has an utterly stupid accident.
