Directions for use and care:
1. If there is a possibility that prolonged contact with the skin could occur an adequate cover should be used to prevent burns
2. Under no circumstances should the hot water bottle be used as a cushion or sat on
3. Do not fill using water from a domestic hot water system as this can considerably shorten the life of the hot water bottle
4. Prevent contact with hot surfaces. Prevent contact with oil or grease
5. Never add liquids other than water to the Hot Water Bottle
6. When not in use, drain completely and store with the stopped removed, in a cool dark place. Prevent exposure to sunlight
7. Do not place anything on top of the bottle during storage
8. Retain these instructions for future use.
Filling Instructions:
1. Check the bottle and stopper for wear and damage prior to use. Check integrity of the hot water bottle and stopper to ensure it has not deteriorated in age. This hot water bottle is made from natural rubber, which can perish over time. If bottle is cracked, damaged, leaking or showing signs of wear it should be discarded
2. When filling this bottle, do not use boiling water, and fill to maximum of two-thirds capacity or less
3. Do not overfill as this may cause the bottle to burst
4. Hold the bottle by the neck in an upright position and fill slowly to avoid hot water splashing back
5. Expel air from the bottle by lowering carefully onto a flat surface until water appears at the opening
6. Screw the stopper sufficiently tight to ensure that there is no leakage. Finger tight should be adequate
7. Finally, make sure the funnel is empty
