real difference to the lives of vulnerable parents and children.
Target is committed to supporting families in the communities where we operate. As a large retailer we know we have a big responsibility and a big opportunity to make a positive change.
One of the ways we do this is through the support of our key charity partner Australian Childhood Foundation. ACF has been a partner since 2021 and together we have been able to make an important impact on families across Australia through their Bringing Up Great Kids Program.
Who is Australian Childhood Foundation?
Who is Australian Childhood Foundation? ACF was started over 30 years ago and works to prevent child abuse and reduce the harm it causes to children, families and the community. They provide support and therapeutic services to children within their specialist centres across Australia, as well as outreach work within the home. They are passionate advocates for defending childhood, ensuring all children feel loved and safe.
How do we support them?
To date, Target is proud to have given over $800,000 directly to ACF. With the support of our store teams and our wonderful customers, we hope to be able to provide a total of $1 million by 2025.
