Since he was a child, Santiago Munez (handsome newcomer Kuno Becker ‘Imagining Argentina’) has had few possessions, little money but one big dream: to become an international football player. An immigrant to the U.S. from Mexico, Santiago has been working menial jobs while playing football every chance he gets. One day at a local match, he’s spotted by a British talent scout (Stephen Dillane ‘The Hours’) who recognises something extraordinary in Santiago, the kind of talent English Premier League Club, Newcastle United, is hungry for. It’s the break aspiring player’s dream of - yet few ever realise.
