Go Bananas with a Buddy: Wether you're playing Original or Funky Mode, you and a friend can team up and take on the Snowmads side by side. Each player can use a single Joy-Con controller, or the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (sold seperately). Player 1 controls Donkey Kong or Funky Kong while Player 2 controls one of their pals - Diddy, Cranky or Dixie - and their special moves.
Monkey magic: Control the Kongs as they leap, run and roll through action-packed stages on a quest to reclaim Donkey Kong Island from the marauding Snowmads! Use each character’s unique moves to explore every corner of all six islands, unearth special items and even hidden exits!

- Dixie Kong: Dixie Kong can blast baddies with her Gumball Popgun, and her ponytail-whirling Helicopter Spin is just what Donkey Kong need to be lifted to safety.
- Cranky Kong: Cranky Kong can use his cane to bounce on spikes and other hazards. Time his jumps just right and you can reach all-new heights. He can also take out enemies by throwing his dentures at them!
