Yan Wang was born in Wuhan, China. She just finished her 4 years fashion bachelor degree in RMIT University. She likes to combine modern design with artistic elements together to create a playful and classical style for fashion. She believes that the visual impact is extraordinary, while textiles, patterns and silhouettes are the three keys to influence a garment.
My concept explores the possibilities of OP Art within the genre of modern menswear creating innovative synaptic fashion. OP Art, also known as optical art, is a style of visual art that makes use of optical illusions. Optical illusions are images formed by misinterpreted sensory signals.
