FASHION GRADUATES
Victoria Thaniotis
I am an aspiring fashion designer who has just completing my final year of a Bachelor of Fashion Design at RMIT University. Throughout my years of study I have obtained invaluable experience working for high end and luxury boutiques as well as interning for top Australian designers. Within my own practice, I often explore abstract design methodologies whilst also striving to develop a strong aesthetic point of view. Often drawing inspiration from art, culture and sartorial dress, my ultimate focus is on silhouette and materiality.

FORM
Form is an exploration into the relationship between form creation and aesthetic ideology, with a particular focus on the parallels between the design process and intended outcome. The research centers on the notion of minimalism within a fashion context and establishing new boundaries through an exploration of form creation and materiality. Through this process an analysis into the coexistence of opposing aesthetics leads to an investigation into the role of elaboration within minimalism, aesthetically, psychologically and within a fashion practice.
