L I L T is a minimal, understated and wearable collection with a focus on hand dyed textiles and bold, colourful shapes. The inspiration for the collection began with the photography of Ansel Adams, Stephen Shore, John Divola and Alfred Steiglitz’s images of Georgia O’Keefe. Each photographer uniquely captured the American landscape - their works combined convey the mood of the new frontier of American creativity and modernity. The use of minimal acrylic closures, bows and ties throughout the collection prompt the wearer to embrace a basic but sophisticated approach towards dressing. Uninhibited by traditional fastenings, the wearer can embrace the layering of colour and shape, canvas upon canvas.
