Molly Younger
Molly Younger is a recent graduate from RMIT University B.A Design (Fashion), Melbourne, Australia. She was raised in Byron Bay, NSW, with a family background enriched in sculpture and artistry. Her work extends on this, through exploring the engagement between fashion and sculpture in the practice of representing and resenting the human figure. Molly States, “I am interested in finding ways of doing; of making; developing techniques and methods of construction; with process guiding result; forming a new language.” Alongside university studies, Molly has completed a two year internship with materialbyproduct, a Melbourne design studio.

FORM/WORN is concerned with the engagement and relationship between fashion and sculpture in the practice of representing and presenting the human figure. Taking the viewpoint of fashion and sculpture as mediums, focusing on the practice of, the craftsmanship involved and the figures represented and presented. A medium being defined as “a means of doing something...a means by which something is communicated or expressed."
