Collection rational:

Entitled ‘Ctrl-C’, after the COPY function on computers, the collection is a personal exploration of identity through the phenomenon that is Chinatown. ‘Ctrl-C’ draws inspiration from the visual culture that exists in Chinatown and expresses this cultural mish mash through the idea of collage. The concept of collage is integral to ‘Ctrl-C’ and is manifested through print and carried through to deconstructed silhouettes and layers. It informs every stage of the designer’s unique and experimental practice, from design, textile development and placement, to pattern cutting which all come together in final garments.
