How To Fill In Your Eyebrows: Beauty Tips by Alice McGenniss-Destro
How To Fill In Your Eyebrows: Beauty Tips

Do you want eyebrows on fleek? The world of beauty, It-girls, front row fixtures and fashion icons alike all have one thing in common at the moment: thick, bold eyebrows! Reminiscent of the iconic Brooke Shields, power brows take years off your face, make you look fresh, young and bold. So it's certainly no surprise that Lily Collins and Cara Delevingne have become unofficial poster girls for the trend. For your own lust-worthy brows, arm yourself with our go-to products and insider tips to master the look from home.

Put Down The Tweezers

If you're still following the over-plucking trend circa 1990, then the first thing we need to address is those tweezers. Put them down. Actually, throw them out and give your brows a good 10 weeks of growing- the less you pluck and more natural in size and shape you keep your eyebrows, the better they will frame your face.

Up Your Brow Game

Once you've let your brows grow out, it's time to get shaping! The first step is plotting out exactly where your brows should start and end. Line up a pencil with the side of your nose to find your brows starting point, and then tilt the pencil over your eye to find the arch.

Lastly, drop the pencil out towards the corner of your eye, creating a 45-degree angle from the side of your nose. This spot is where your brow should end. Apply white pencil to 'erase' stray hairs that fall outside the natural shape of your brow. Then remove them with tweezers one at a time.

Define & Colour

No power brow is complete without using brow plumper. The general rule of thumb is to select a plumper no more than two shades lighter or darker than your natural hair colour. Using the brow plumper wand, employ short strokes and comb through your eyebrows, starting at the inner edges and moving outwards. Continue this motion and focus on the finest areas of the brow to intensify the look.

Enjoy your ticket to wow brows!
