Things to consider when buying a suit
How a suit should fit
Snug in the shoulders
Make sure the suit fits close in the shoulder, without extending past your own.
Close in the chest
You should be able to easily button your jacket with about one fist’s worth of space in the chest.
Sleeves should fit comfortably without excess bunching at the elbows.
Wrist length sleves
The sleeve should end at the wrist joint with ½ inch of your shirt cuff showing.
Perfect jacket length
You should easily be able to cup your hands around the bottom of the jacket.
Trim in the legs
Suit trousers should fit comfortable without sagging or bunching
Hit at the shoes
Legs should fall at the top of the shoes in the front and just over the top of the heel in the back.
