Introducing Life & Style by Style Space

I have recently been introduced to a new range created by Target called Life & Style - incorporating key wardrobe staples like denim, basic tees and everyday stylish staples. The range brings with it a certain attention to detail, whilst not over styling any of the pieces by "keeping it simple". Not only do these pieces seamlessly work with your existing wardrobe, they fill in the gaps and allow you to style them up (or down) how ever you choose. Below I have styled some of my favourites...

These mid wash skinny jeans are amazing…seriously. The every day jean that is not overly distressed or too faded, but just the right balance. Easy to dress up with a pair of heels or down with your favourite birkies. I've paired them with a stripe tank (you can never have too many stripes), also from the range, for a casual no fuss look. Next up, the effortless maxi - again celebrating all things stripes (...I stand by that you can never have to many) - for me, this dress is all about the quality of the cotton. I'm first to admit that the "white on white" trend is difficult to wear. Your ability to use shades and colours to emphasis and conceal, pretty much goes out the window. But in comes to play the importance in the selection of fabrics and cuts. These white boyfriend denim shorts are great with a relaxed cut - this is key if you are feeling nervous about wearing white shorts. Styled with a boho linen top, and finally thrown in for good measure (...and a little extra comfort) a check shirt around your waist, and you're done.
