In November 2005, as part of the former Coles Group, Target launched an Ethical Sourcing Code to generate commitment to the sourcing of ethically produced products. The code aims to ensure products sold in Target are produced in safe working conditions and that the basic human rights of workers are respected.

The Ethical Sourcing Code sets out minimum requirements and expectations that all vendors, including sub-contractors engaged by vendors, must meet in order to do business with us.
